Olive Oilers Capture 4th St Helena Bocce Ball Title

Top seed Olive Oilers faced off against second seed Shatto
Monteleone in the St Helena Bocce Ball finals in Crane Park
on Saturday September 7th. Shatto Monteleone jumped out to a
8 to 3 lead in game one only to have the Oilers battle back
to make the game 11-10. Shatto Monteleone in an attempt to
close out the Oilers had a blast shot go bad causing the

the Oilers battled back to take a 10-8 advantage into the
final frame. The come back was highlighted by a spectular
shot by Ray Particelli turning one Monteleone point into
three for the Olive Oilers. In the last frame Kevin Grubbs
rolled the final shot within two feet for the two game   sweep.
