Reasons why you should be a member of the U.S. Bocce Federation

1. Founded in 1976 as a National Bocce Organization.
2. The USBF is a member of the Federation International do Boules and the Confederazione Boccistica Internazionale. 
3. Puts on Annual National Bocce Tournaments in which a team is selected to represent the United States in International Competition.
4. Receive a National Bocce Magazine published three times a year.
5. The International Olympic Committee has bestowed recognition on the U.S. Bocce Federation and designated Bocce as an official amateur sport. Through the help of the International Bocce Federation and the U.S. Bocce Federation, Bocce could become an Olympic Event in the very near future.
6. The U.S. Bocce Federation hosted the first United States International World Cup Bocce Championship in Highwood, Illinois in October, 1996. (Fifteen (15) countries were represented.)
7. The U.S. Bocce Federation is a non-profit organization and has received tax exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service.
8. The prime purpose of the U.S. Bocce Federation is to promote Bocce and to get Bocce into the Olympics.
9. The U.S. Bocce Federation is entirely a volunteer organization. No one receives any financial benefit for his or her labor of love for Bocce.
